Surf Cape Flinders

Cape Flinders - Victoria Cape Flinders features powerful reef waves that break both right and left over a combination of coral and sharp rocks with sand. This spot is accessible via a short 10-minute walk, but caution is advised due to the presence of tiger snakes in summer. Located between Flinders and Cape Shank, this surf spot can be challenging to locate, so it's best to follow your instincts. The ideal conditions occur with a rising tide during low to mid tide, complemented by swell from the west, southwest, or south, and wind from the north or northwest. Surfers can expect a relatively uncrowded experience during the week and on weekends, but should remain vigilant for rips, undertow, and the potential presence of sharks.
