Surf Callantsoog

Callantsoog - Netherlands Callantsoog features sandbar waves that break both right and left over a sandy bottom. The spot is known for its ordinary power and is best surfed during low and mid tide, particularly on a rising tide. The prime surfing area is located in front of the boating club, with easy access within five minutes of walking. While the beach offers a variety of surf spots, caution is advised near the jetties and potential rips. On certain days, the outer sandbar beyond the jetties can produce exceptional waves, making the paddle worthwhile. The conditions are optimal with wind from the south, southeast, east, or northeast, and swell from the north, northwest, west, or southwest. The beach remains relatively uncrowded during both weekdays and weekends, providing a serene surfing experience.
