Surf Caletta

Caletta - Majanicho, Lanzarote Caletta features powerful reef waves breaking both right and left over flat rocks. Accessible via a short 5-15 minute walk from the bay of Majanicho, this spot is suitable for surfers of various skill levels. Ideal conditions occur during mid to high tide with rising tide movement, particularly when the swell comes from the Northwest or West and winds from the South, Southeast, or East. Located in a natural harbor, Caletta offers a laid-back atmosphere, attracting a mix of locals and visitors. The long righthander along the eastern edge can provide fun rides, especially on clean days. However, be prepared for a lengthy paddle out as the break is situated far from shore. While the crowd is generally light during the week, weekends can see an increase in surfers, particularly when conditions are favorable. Caution is advised due to potential rip currents and rocky hazards, especially on larger days.
