Description
Located 2 km outside Fagernes towards Vestre Slidre, follow the road to Fodnes for 3.5 km. The launch site is just below a large white house. Be cautious of the power line that crosses the field; you may need to walk a bit down the slope to avoid it. It's a beautiful launch spot.
Alternatively, you can drive about 200 meters further and then walk onto the field on the upper side of the road. This option gives you an additional 100 meters of altitude, making the total height difference 370 meters.
For winter landings, you can use the ice. For summer landings, there is currently no agreement in place, so please ask a landowner for permission first.
