The takeoff is from 'Golful Francez', where the cliff is less steep. You can place your paraglider right at the edge of the cliff, descend as far as the lines allow, and take off with inflation. Another easier method is to place the paraglider behind the road (avoiding rotor), where you feel the breeze near the ground, inflate, and move towards the cliff. It's advisable to turn back in time as the cliff's lift will elevate you. If the breeze is very strong or there's a strong wind (possibly a moving air mass), you can take off from the beach. Place the wing on the grass at the base of the cliff, inflate, and climb a few meters with slightly pulled brakes on the cliff. When you feel you can't maintain the wing, take off backward. The return should be done in the air, immediately entering a wide turn to catch the dynamic lift. In such situations, it's recommended not to fly over the cliff but far in front of it, over the sea. For hang gliding, takeoff must be done only from the edge of the cliff with cable assistance! You need significant flying experience. You'll realize this when you're ready to take off at the cliff's edge, where it feels like something is missing. Indeed, there's no place to run; the takeoff is just a step followed by another into the void! However, with a 6 m/s breeze, the wing will rise over the cliff if you make a quick turn.
