Paragliding Tapawera

Tapawera is a paragliding site with an elevation of 345 meters. It is occasionally used, primarily for soaring and training flights. The site is located on a forestry road, and access may be restricted during the week due to logging activities. To access Tapawera, vehicles must be registered with the forest leaseholder. Additionally, each car must carry a shovel and a fire extinguisher for safety reasons.
