Description
At an altitude of 1710 meters, this paragliding site is moderately challenging and not frequently used. The walk to the launch site from the mountain station takes about an hour. While cross-country flights are possible, they are somewhat limited.
This location is suitable for paragliders and is an approved training ground for schools. The Wildschönau area is excellent for beginners and leisure pilots. It is not affected by the Inntal valley wind, making it a favorable spot. There is a large take-off meadow directly below a serviced mountain hut and a spacious landing field, ensuring a relaxed flight experience. The site is used for high-altitude flight training by the Wildschönau Paragliding School. The infrastructure here is excellent.
