Paragliding Praia de Melides

Melides Beach, located in the Alentejo region of Portugal, approximately 20 km north of Sines, offers a small but enjoyable paragliding spot. The takeoff altitude is 30 meters with a similar elevation difference. The site is oriented towards the west (W), making it suitable for cliff soaring when the wind is coming from that direction. This location is rarely used and is primarily favored by local pilots for soaring and playing around. On particularly strong days, some cross-country (XC) flights are possible.
