Paragliding Pemberton Hills Pritchard, BC

The site has not been flown for many years and is currently closed or in jeopardy. It is crucial to ask local pilots for the latest information before planning any flights. Do not confuse this site with Pemberton Valley, which has top-rated sites. Access to the site is across the Thomson River from Pritchard. Follow the left fork and then the right fork to Pinantan Lake. The landing zone (LZ) is located halfway to the turn-off to the launch. The launch road forks to the north about two-thirds of the way to the lake and then winds up the sloping back of the cliff. The road can be difficult to follow as you approach the top. The launch area is small, accommodating only two or three gliders at a time. It features an east-facing cliff launch with a short run, making it an excellent site for morning flights.
