Paragliding Noli Ligure

Noli, Italy This site is occasionally used for soaring flights, particularly from October to April. Flying is prohibited from May 1st to September 30th. The site record is 6.7 km. To reach the takeoff point, drive through the town of Noli towards Manie. Pass the junction for Magnone and continue to the Manie plateau. After passing the restaurant 'FERRIN', take the first dirt road on the left. Follow this road for about 1.5 km and park near the takeoff area. Takeoff is typical for the Ligurian region, allowing one glider at a time with a short run before flight. Be cautious of rocks and roots that can snag your lines. Flying with a north wind (Tramontana) can be particularly turbulent and is not recommended. If you encounter north winds while in flight, descend immediately and land on the beach. Landing is on the long beach of Noli. Be mindful of concrete walls and railings that can be hazardous. The initial section of the beach towards the southeast is usually less crowded and has ample parking nearby. In flight, with a strong northeast wind, excellent thermodynamic conditions can be found on all three ridges visible from takeoff. On special days, you can fly as far as the castle of Noli and beyond towards Spotorno, where new thermodynamic conditions can be found.
