Description
Mount Strachan, located in Cypress Provincial Park, Canada, offers a paragliding launch at an elevation of 1398 meters with a height difference of 1390 meters. This site is occasionally used and is suitable for soaring and thermalling, with some potential for cross-country flights. The site record is 31.0 km.
Access to the launch is relatively easy due to the proximity of ski hills, allowing you to drive up to an elevation of over 900 meters on a paved road. This makes it one of the more accessible paragliding sites in the North Shore region.
