The Wildschönau flying site is frequently used and ideal for training, beginners, and those returning to the sport. Occasionally, small cross-country flights are possible. Top landing and touch & go are feasible.
This launch site is less crowded. In winter, starting from the piste is generally not allowed, so you must start off-piste. There are additional alternatives along the ridge towards the west after a few hundred meters.

The Wildschönau area is excellent for beginners and leisure pilots. It is not exposed to the Inntal valley wind, making it a favorable location. A large launch meadow directly below a serviced mountain hut and a spacious landing field ensure a relaxed flight. The site is used for altitude flight training by the Wildschönau flight school. The infrastructure is excellent.
