Paragliding Kleppstadheia, Lofoten

This is a great place to fly with a vast area free of vegetation for takeoff. The landing zone is marked, but you can practically land anywhere. There is a power line at the base of the mountain, but you will fly over it with a clear margin. Parking is located about 30 minutes west of Svolvær. Turn off towards 'Brenna'. There is ample parking space for hikers at the bus stop (this is the parking area marked on the map). It takes about 30-45 minutes to hike up. Note: If the wind direction is southeast, you might have to walk a bit from the landing zone to get back to the road.
