Description
Located in the Tyrol region of Austria, this paragliding site is situated at an altitude of 2042 meters with a height difference of 956 meters. It is predominantly used by hang gliders, offering multiple launch options including a grassy area or a ramp. Although it is rarely used by paraglider pilots, it is still suitable for paragliding.
The site is accessible by car. It is an approved training ground and is considered easy, making it suitable for beginners. When approaching from the east, before entering the town of Sillian, you will find the landing area opposite the valley station, behind a landing hut marked with a windsock.
The landing area is a large, obstacle-free meadow. Please park your vehicle only on the left side at the entrance to the landing site. A left-hand landing pattern is mandatory.
