Description
Crans Montana is a renowned ski and golf resort located in the French-speaking Valais region of southwest Switzerland. To reach the paragliding take-off site at Bellalui, you need to take two gondolas from the village of Crans. This site was notably used for the second leg of the Paragliding World Cup in 2003.
The take-off site is situated at an altitude of 2380 meters. The launch area is a moderately steep meadow, facing southwest, making it suitable for intermediate pilots. From Aminona, you can take a gondola to Petit Mont Bonvin and then walk for about 5 minutes to reach the take-off site.
Occasionally used, hang gliders also start here or below the path. Cross-country flights are possible from this location. The site record is 27.1 km.
