Paragliding Gateway Park

The training hill, with a height of 142 meters and a horizontal distance of 75 meters, is ideal for kiting, sledders, and proximity soaring in strong winds. This site is unregulated and exclusively for paragliding. The rolling hills are perfect for kiting and early flights. Pilots with a P2 rating can fly and kite here independently. The site is best suited for east winds, typically during the winter months. Parking is available at Benicia Dog Park. Be cautious of venturi effects near the left and right sides of the hill, as it is easy to be blown back.
