Description
At an elevation of 1633 meters, this paragliding site in Switzerland is occasionally used but offers excellent cross-country (XC) flying opportunities. There are various launch options available. The site record is 59.3 km.
The launch area is very large and easy to use. It is a good alternative when the cable car to Nara is not operating. Note that there are no parking facilities at the launch site. The flying area can be challenging in the spring due to strong thermals and is susceptible to north winds and strong valley winds.
