Description
This paragliding site, located at an altitude of 2747 meters in Austria, is rarely used and is considered difficult. It is primarily a hike & fly location with various launch options in the surrounding area.
The site record is 13.5 km. The launch area is a high alpine peak with a northern launch slightly below the summit and a better eastern launch. However, it is only accessible in winter when there is snow, as the area is rocky.
The launch site is situated in a steep snow gully facing east. The summit cross is secured with steel cables that occupy almost the entire summit plateau. With optimal wind conditions, a northern launch is also possible.
