Description
The takeoff point is situated 50 meters above ground level and is best suited for westerly winds. There is an additional takeoff location a few hundred meters south of this point.
The elevation is 1500 meters above sea level north of Lake Lygnern and 2500 meters above sea level south of the lake, extending eastward to Oskarshamn, which is 260 kilometers away.
The site is oriented 260 degrees west and was previously used as a hang glider training area. It should be suitable for flying in weak sea breezes. However, be cautious of the small ridge in the slope in front, as well as the strong thermals in the area, which is characterized by boulder ridges.

This location is primarily used for hang gliding and requires at least a student license. The recommended wind directions are west and southwest.
Comments from previous visitors suggest that it may not be worth the effort to travel here, as many have been disappointed due to the abundance of bushes and trees, and the busy road on top of the ridge. It can also be dangerous if the wind increases.
