At an altitude of 1546 meters, this paragliding site is occasionally used and offers opportunities for soaring and cross-country flights.
Access to the site can be achieved via a cable car or a toll road. The launch area is suitable for paragliders and is located about a 45-minute walk (approximately 250 meters in elevation) from the mountain station. Alternatively, you can drive to the site via Dünserberg - Winkel and the toll road. During the summer months, there is a bus service that operates up to Gasthaus Älpele, with boarding options available in Schlins, Schnifis, and Düns.
The launch area consists of grassy terrain, which is very flat and uneven.
It is important to note that this launch site, like all other launch sites in Schnifis, is highly exposed to west and tailwinds. Therefore, launches in the summer are almost exclusively possible in the morning.
