Takeoff: The takeoff area is a narrow field, somewhat technical but manageable. Be cautious of the low power lines behind you, especially in strong wind conditions.
Landing: There are two landing options. The first is the designated landing area, which is the safest choice. The second option is a kind of top landing directly in front of the takeoff area. This option is very technical and should be attempted only after consulting with local pilots. Be aware of power lines and thermals in the area. While it may be more convenient for retrieval, it’s not worth risking an injury.
Getting There: From Competa, take the road towards Torrox. After about 500 meters from Competa, turn right onto a small road. Continue for another 500 meters, then turn right again and proceed to the top near a large green water tank. The takeoff area is located there.
