Parapente Cebreros Avila

Located in the Avila region of Spain, this paragliding site offers an elevation of 1299 meters with a height difference of approximately 500 meters. It's an easy spot, frequently used for thermal soaring, and good for cross-country (XC) flights. Access is convenient by car. To get there, head to the village of Cebreros and drive up to the Arrebatacapas pass. At the pass, take the track on the left and follow it for about 3 km to reach the take-off area, which is after a steep cemented ramp. The usual meeting point is Bar El Churrasco, located opposite the Guardia Civil station (phone: 91-8632102). The take-off area is very spacious and open, with no significant issues. The official landing zone is about 1 km to the left of the road at the base of the take-off area. However, during the hottest hours, landing can be turbulent due to the slope. The landing area is located at an altitude of 760 meters, along the road to the Burgillo reservoir. If you miss the first landing spot, which can be thermal and sloped, there is another landing area used by the school further down the path. Both landing zones are accessible by car.
