This site is very frequently used, especially the main Cavalleria takeoff. There is a southwest takeoff located 120 meters west from the main site. The area offers excellent soaring conditions and good cross-country (XC) potential, particularly in spring, but it is also flyable in summer and autumn. There are various takeoff options available, making it a versatile site.
The site is relatively easy to fly and is also used by paragliding schools. You can get to the takeoff with the club's shuttle service, Navetta. In case of strong winds, there are two intermediate takeoff points, one of which is accessible by car.
Soaring conditions are optimal when the sun shines all day, allowing for great evening flights from the upper takeoff. Top landing is also possible, letting you enjoy the last rays of the sun.
