This site is frequently used for paragliding, especially for soaring and cross-country (XC) flights. The take-off area is very small but accessible by car. The site record is 51.3 km.
Directions: From the A4 highway, exit at Brescia Centro and follow the signs towards the city center. At the roundabout, turn right and continue straight, passing another roundabout and two traffic lights (Via della Maggia). At the next roundabout, continue straight on Via San Polo until the following roundabout, then turn left onto Via Fiorentini. At the stop sign, turn left onto Via Gatti and continue straight. After approximately 400 meters, you will see the cemetery on the right, with the landing field on its east side.

There is a single road leading to Monte Maddalena with various take-off points at different elevations. After exiting the cemetery road where the official landing site is located, turn left at the first intersection and then left again at the traffic light onto Viale Bornata. Continue straight to Viale Venezia until you reach the large traffic light and intersection at Piazzale Arnaldo. Turn right, and immediately after the first gas station, turn right again onto Via Panoramica, which leads to the summit of Monte Maddalena.
After approximately 7 km, you can park near the hairpin turn close to the old cable car pylon, marked by a large windsock. From there, cross the parapet to find the trail leading to the Buren take-off after about 100 meters.
To reach the higher take-offs, continue driving to the summit of the mountain, where there is a large parking area. To the left of the parking area, a small road descends slightly (signposted 'ristorante il grillo'). Follow this road, and once you reach the restaurant, take the uphill road in front of you. At the end of this road, you will find the two take-offs (East and Pedana-West) on the respective sides of the mountain.
