This paragliding site is located 20 km east of Kelowna in the Central Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. The launch area is situated at an elevation of 2,250 feet ASL for paragliders and 2,400 feet ASL for hang gliders. The landing zone is at 600 feet ASL. The site is primarily used for thermal flying and is suitable for both hang gliding and paragliding. Due to its location within Class D controlled airspace, it is mandatory to contact the Kelowna Tower at 250-765-3426 before flying. Additionally, you must fly with a local club member. Access to the site is restricted, requiring a key for the upper gate, which can be obtained by contacting ISC club member Jesse Lloyd at 250-212-6064 or via email at jesselloyd@gmail.com. The club also has a lockbox for the key to the lower gate. The launch area is rough and rocky, located near the Microwave towers. The best flying times are from late morning to 5 PM.
