The road is paved up to the ramp. From the road, you can see the “Topo do Mundo” restaurant and cell phone antennas, which mark the take-off spot. Take-off: Several steep natural ramps allow take-offs in two directions: East to Moedinha and West to Moedão. Simultaneous take-offs are possible. Landing: Multiple landing areas are available for both ramps, with the most popular being Pouso do Genésio and Pouso do Japonês. Best Season: From September to December. Easy retrieval. Disadvantages: Extreme conditions with strong winds, not recommended for inexperienced pilots at certain times. Cumulonimbus clouds (CBs) are common from December to March.
