Description
This launch site, situated at an elevation of 1314 meters, is frequently used and offers excellent conditions for both soaring and cross-country flights. The launch site is not open to the public and is maintained by Paragliding Interlaken for commercial operations. Only PGI and the Ikarus flight school are permitted to use this site.
The primary launch site is located at Amisbühl. This beautiful grassy launch area faces south and can accommodate multiple paragliders. To reach the site, you can take a post bus, car, or shuttle bus to Waldegg. From there, follow the signs towards Amisbühl. Parking is available at the hiking parking lot, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the launch site.
