Description
Hogstfelt is a launch site with good distance potential, situated in the core area for glider pilots and the Army's new shooting range. It is known for the longest paragliding flight in the Nordics, reaching Sälen in Sweden in 1998. This site is suitable for both ridge and thermal soaring. However, the last kilometer of the road is in poor condition, making it unsuitable for polished cars. The final stretch from the road to the launch site is steep. Landing zones are located directly below the cliff and near the main road.
