Description
The launch site is situated at an altitude of 1570-1590 meters and is frequently used, especially during the summer months. It is suitable for both hang gliding and paragliding. The site supports walk & fly activities and offers potential for cross-country (XC) flights.
To reach the site, take the Postbus to Waldegg and then walk for approximately 35 minutes. Please note that parking at the launch site is prohibited. Instead, use the parking area near the Hohwald ski lift.
During the winter, this location is not an official launch site due to ski operations.
