The launch site is situated at an altitude of 2200 meters, with a height difference of approximately 1000 meters. This site is considered medium in difficulty and is rarely used.
For those interested in a hike and fly experience, it takes about 2 hours to reach the launch point. The route starts by taking a bus from Trübbach to Scheidweg, followed by a hike through Palfris up to Alvier. Be prepared for a steep ascent of 1000 meters in elevation gain.
While the site is not frequently visited, it does offer some potential for cross-country flights.
