Weather specificities: A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18C (in summer) and can go up to 30C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.

Wind specificities: Best winds in spring and fall. Summer lighter winds, can have nice East winds. Any strength possible with depressions. If the wind is too much from the South in Brasilien, Heidkate and Hohenfelde, it will still work here.
Access description: by Car - From Kiel take the B502 towards Schoenberg. Pass Schoenberg and keep following the street until you see signs to Behrensdorf. From the A1 take the B202 in Oldenburg towards Luetjenburg. In Luetjenburg take the B502 or L165 towards Schoenberg and turn and follow signs to Behrensdorf.
