Access description: by Car - Drive south of the airport through San Fernando. From San Fernando head for Fyzabad and keep going south towards San Francique. Ask for directions as it is easy to miss the place.

Infos: Nice and flat water, beautiful and colorful when the sun shines. There are several different wave spots about 1 km offshore, and sometimes perfect waves. Corals and sand on the bottom.

Wind specificities: Most wind between December and March. Max approx. 25-30 knots, normally 15-25 knots when there is wind. North is stable, east very gusty. This spot can be difficult for beginners as the beach normally is crowded, and the wind blows offshore, but this is no problem if you can go upwind (there are people that will pick you up with a boat if you get problems).

Access description: by Car - Located on the Southeast coast of Trinidad. It can be accessed by the Mayaro-Guayaguayare Road. It is about 2.5 hours drive away from Port of Spain.

Extra: Usual rules. Don't leave your things unmonitored on the beach. There are lifeguards from 10 am to 5 pm (up to 6 pm during the summer vacation).

Lambeau Kitebeach

Infos: Beach break along the shore, shallow lagoon in front of Lambeau village, to the left and around the point by the Hilton to the right. Reef break in front of the Hilton and around the point. There are occasionally a few swimmers around but nothing to worry about. From around April until June there can be some days where Portuguese Man-O-Wars are washed ashore. These days are rare though. Wearing a lycra will help protect.

Beach type & size: Sand - Tidal

Infos: Long sandy beach with a few shells, usually wider around the river mouth. Best at low tide but incoming and outgoing tides are ok too. If tide is extremely high kites can be launched/landed on parking lot (watch out for cars, trees and power lines in the back).
