The bottom consists of flat rocks, making it essential to be cautious. This spot works at all tides, particularly during rising tide, and is accessible within a 5-minute walk from local surf shops. Located near the beautiful natural surroundings, Wilderness offers an exhilarating surf experience, though it can get crowded on weekends. The area is known for its few weekday surfers, providing a more relaxed atmosphere. Be mindful of potential dangers such as urchins, rips, undertow, and rocks. For optimal conditions, the best swell directions are from the North, Northwest, and Southwest, with favorable winds coming from the Southeast, East, and Northeast. After rain, access roads may become muddy, so plan accordingly.
