The Hut - Paradise Cove The Hut features right-breaking waves over a sandy and rocky bottom, ideal for intermediate to advanced surfers. The wave is described as fun and ledgey, working best at mid to high tide with swells from the southwest and south. Access is restricted to residents or their guests only. Located in Paradise Cove, The Hut is approximately 150 meters north of the local restaurant and pier. To reach this exclusive surf spot, take the Pacific Coast Highway past Malibu and turn left into Paradise Cove. While the weekdays see minimal crowds, weekends attract a few surfers. Be mindful of the private beach status, as it limits public access. If the swell is exceptional, consider heading to nearby Little Dume for a potentially better surf experience.
