This spot works best with a 1.2-1.8 meter swell and is optimal during low to mid tide, particularly with a northeast wind.
Located about 100 meters offshore from Cape Paterson, The Hub is accessible via a short 5-15 minute walk. The atmosphere is generally relaxed, with few surfers on weekdays, allowing for a more private experience. While it can hold swells up to 2.4 meters, the wave can be challenging for beginners due to its shallow nature. Surfers should be mindful of rips, rocks, and potential shark sightings.
