The wave is highly exposed, making it challenging to catch during windy days. While the crowd is typically sparse, paddling out can be strenuous due to strong currents. Surfboards of various types can be used, but stamina is essential. The prime surf season runs from April to September, with spring and autumn also offering decent conditions. Surfers should remain vigilant for other surfers and boats, as crowd levels can fluctuate.
