It works best at low and mid tide, particularly with a rising tide, and is influenced by swell from the Northwest, West, and Southwest. Accessing Serena's requires a short walk (5-15 minutes) from a small dirt lot along Padaro Lane. The wave is known for its inconsistency but can deliver long rides, especially during larger swells. While the break can be fun and rippable, it also features a deepwater reef that produces a quick left, ending in a challenging shore pound. Expect a few surfers during the week, but weekends can get crowded. Be cautious of rocks and the private beach nearby.
