Rinlo - North Coast, Spain Rinlo features powerful left-breaking reef waves over sharp rocks, making it a dangerous spot for surfers. The wave is characterized by its hollow and fast nature, ideal for experienced surfers. Access is straightforward, with public pathways leading to the beach in under 5 minutes. Located near Ribadeo, Rinlo works best at low and mid tide, with optimal conditions during rising and falling tides. The ideal swell comes from the Northwest and West, while winds from the South and Southeast enhance the surf. Despite its challenging nature, the spot remains relatively uncrowded during the week, with only a few surfers on weekends. Caution is advised due to rips, undertow, and the rocky bottom, making it essential for surfers to be aware of their surroundings.
