Surf Racca Point

Racca Point - Capitana Racca Point features powerful left-breaking reef waves over flat rocks with sand, ideal for experienced surfers. Access involves a short walk (5-15 minutes) from a street in Villasimius, and while public access is available, conditions can be challenging with shallow rocks and potential rips. Located between Cagliari and Villasimius, Racca Point is a picturesque surf destination. The spot works best at high tide during rising tide conditions, with optimal swell coming from the south and southeast. While it can be less crowded during the week, expect a surge of surfers on weekends, particularly when a good southeast swell arrives. Caution is advised due to the presence of urchins and tricky access when the waves are pumping.
