This surf spot features a powerful point break with waves breaking both right and left. The beach is located at Puerto de la Cruz, nestled between cliffs and the Costa de Martiánez complex. Access is straightforward, requiring a short walk of 5-15 minutes, and the beach is open to the public.
While the area was once known for its waves, the construction of swimming pools has diminished its appeal. However, on good days, waves can still be found behind the protective dock. The beach, with its black sand, is exposed to the ocean's forces, making it suitable for surfing. Optimal conditions occur with swells from the North, NorthWest, and NorthEast, complemented by winds from the South, SouthWest, and South. Expect fewer surfers during the week, but crowds can gather on weekends.
