Surf Paia bay

Paia Bay - Maui Paia Bay features a beach break with both right and left waves, characterized by a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. Located just off the highway east of Kahului, Paia Bay is a popular alternative to the crowded Baldwin Beach Park. The waves here can be deceptive; a 10-14 foot wave may feel less powerful than it appears. Surfers should be cautious of rips, rocks, and localism.
