Surf Ours

Ours - Kurnell National Park Ours features a right-breaking reef wave characterized by a ledgy take-off and a powerful, hollow barrel. The wave breaks in front of a steep cliff, creating an intimidating atmosphere, especially for less experienced surfers. It works best at mid to high tide with rising and falling tides, and is influenced by southeast to east swell and west to southwest winds. Located in Kurnell National Park, access is straightforward with less than a 5-minute walk from the parking area, but a day pass is required. The wave is known for its extreme conditions, making it suitable only for highly skilled surfers. The heavy nature of the wave can lead to dangerous situations, particularly if one is caught against the rocks. While the spot is generally empty during the week and weekends, caution is advised due to potential hazards like rocks and sharks.
