Surf Napatree Jetty

Napatree Jetty - Watch Hill, Rhode Island Napatree Jetty features a breakwater/jetty wave that breaks both right and left over a sandy bottom mixed with rock. The wave is best surfed during mid tide on a falling tide, with optimal conditions arising from a south swell of at least 1.2-1.5 meters. This spot is ideal when nearby beaches like Watch Hill and Misquamicut are blown out, offering fun and fast waves with minimal crowds, especially during the week. Access is straightforward; park at the large lot off Bay Street and walk approximately 400 meters to the jetty. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great choice for surfers seeking a less crowded experience. However, be cautious of man-made hazards such as buoys in the water.
