The ride can begin a quarter-mile out, weaving through kelp fields before reaching the beachbreak. While the spot can be inconsistent, prime surf days are highly sought after. Nearby, Shark Fin Rock offers additional right breaks when conditions align. Access is straightforward; take a left off Highway 101 onto 3rd Avenue and park roadside. Expect few surfers during the week, ensuring a more solitary experience. However, be cautious of rips, undertow, and the presence of sharks.
