Surf Lacona ( Elba island )

Lacona (Elba Island) - Elba Island Lacona is a classic beach break featuring both right and left-hand waves, with a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The spot works well at all tides, particularly during falling tide, and is best with glassy conditions or offshore winds. Swell directions from the southwest, south, and southeast provide optimal surfing conditions. Located on the south coast of Elba Island, Lacona is easily accessible from the small village of Lacona, just a short walk from the camping area. The surf here offers a mix of fun waves, though it can be inconsistent at times. While the peak can be challenging when the waves exceed 1.8 meters, the inside section can provide thrilling tubing experiences over shallow rocks. Expect fewer surfers during the week, but weekends can get crowded. Always be cautious of the rocks in the area.
