Surf Hut Gulley (Guvvos)

Hut Gulley (Guvvos) - Anglesea Hut Gulley features both right and left breaking waves over a sandy bottom, providing fast and fun conditions. This surf spot is located just 4 km past Anglesea, accessible via the third car park off the Great Ocean Road, which includes a large parking area and a wooden lookout. The spot offers a long stretch of beach with multiple banks, ideal for various board types. The left-hander near the Anglesea end of the car park is particularly favored, while fun right-handers can be found directly in front of the lookout. It works well at all tides, with optimal conditions during rising tides and favorable winds from the north and northwest. The crowd is generally sparse during the week, with only a few surfers on weekends. However, be cautious of rips and undertow in the water.
