Surf Gravejard

Gravejard - Location Gravejard features a reef (coral) wave that breaks both right and left over flat rocks. The spot is accessible via a short walk (5-15 minutes) from the power station, with public access available. It typically offers ordinary to fun wave power, best surfed at mid tide during rising and falling tides, with optimal conditions from winds coming from the south, southeast, or east. This surf spot is known for its punchy, hollow waves, making it a popular choice among surfers. While it generally sees few surfers during the week, weekends can attract more riders. Be cautious of rips, undertow, and rocks, especially during low tide when urchins may pose a hazard. The location is often sheltered from westerly winds, providing decent conditions on breezy days. Arrive early to secure parking near the water distillation building and enjoy the waves while being mindful of the local surf scene.
