Surf El Unico

El Unico - Puerto Rico El Unico is a powerful beach break featuring hollow and fast waves that break both right and left over a sandy bottom with rocks. The spot is known for its steep drops and spitting tubes, making it primarily suitable for bodyboarding. Access is instant, with a walk of less than 5 minutes from the parking area. Located along an empty shoreline, El Unico is a local favorite, often crowded during the week and ultra-crowded on weekends. The best conditions occur at low to mid tide with a rising tide, and optimal swell comes from the north, northwest, and northeast, while winds from the south, southeast, and east are preferred. Be cautious of localism, rips, and pollution, and ensure your vehicle is parked in a visible area to deter theft.
