Daymer Point - Trebetherick Daymer Point features a right-hand point break over a sandy bottom mixed with rock. This spot is best suited for advanced windsurfing and kite surfing, particularly during neap tides with significant swell. Strong rips can occur, influenced by tidal movements, with speeds reaching up to 8 knots. Located just south of Trebetherick, Daymer Point is easily accessible with a nearby car park and a short walk of 5-15 minutes to the beach. The wave conditions are optimal at mid tide, with favorable wind directions from the west to southeast and swell from the northwest to southwest. While the spot is generally uncrowded during the week and weekends, surfers should be cautious of dangers such as strong rips, rocks, and localism. This location serves as a sheltered alternative when nearby spots are too large or blown out, making it a unique destination for experienced surfers.
