This remote spot is accessible via a 45-minute drive on an unsealed road from Morro Jable, with parking available directly at the beach. It is recommended to use a 4x4 vehicle due to the road conditions.
Despite its potential, Cofete Beach poses significant dangers, particularly with strong rips and the risk of closing out, especially during large swells and offshore winds. The beach remains largely empty throughout the week, making it an appealing choice for solitude. However, surfers should exercise caution, as there are no coastguard facilities nearby, and cellphone coverage can be unreliable.
